A bride's simple request....

Yes, I want a sword to pose with as the ultimate bride who doesn't put up with anything. I don't think anyone will cross me if I am carrying around a deadly weapon. Another Kill Bill poster like this with just the image of the sword is a gift from my Dingo for our wedding day! Can't wait to get it on the wall as inspiration!

Mimi's Save the Date Cards

The finished product!

These were the "tools" we used to create the cards. Postcards and envelopes are from PaperSource, the seal wax is from waxseals and the graphics we just got from a friend's computer. The super neat part is the sticker to use on guests calendars to help them save the date! We produced those from a polaraid sticker printer and cutting them in half and placing them on the postcard with album corners.

A sketch of your wedding gown

For those brides whose wedding took place some time ago, hint to your husband how much you loved your dress and had a keepsake of it. Maybe send him to MyDreamLines to have them sketch an an exact replica of your gown. Pretty good keepsake that keeps it simple.

Details By Beth....

Take a gander at these great "new" artist I stumbled upon (hem, hem, Laura). Beth calls herself an "architect by day, artist by night." Here is a few of my favorites from her etsy site. Check it out my friends! These would make excellent bridesmaid thank gifts for showers, bachelorette parties and such. Or even cute favors for a bridal luncheon.

Stay in touch with your bridal party with these cute notecards....

I heart daisys.

My personal favorite, a collection of her work in a calendar!

Check out more of Beth's details at DetailsByBeth or her etsy site.

Pretty flowers form J.P. Parker

I had to share this beautiful boquet made by our florist, J.P. Parker. They are capable of almost anything, but I especially like the variety of flowers with the red and pink roses and white orchids. Pretty Pretty.

I LOVE making my dog smile!!!

Take a look at what I found on etsy, my new favorite shopping site. Some of you may know I recently lost my cat, so the need for these cute name tags (and a MICROCHIP!) is a little late for me, but I plan on getting some for my remaining three animals. Makeyoudogsmile has a large quantity of styles to choose from, which of course you get to personalize. Bling for the pets!!!

Ahh... kitty kitty

Ooh la la! Fashion!

My personal favorite... a tag for your pups name, a tag for the address, and a tag for your phone #

Cuteness from Kim @ "The Office"

I have had the fortune of forming a great long distance friendship with Kim Ferry, key hairstylist on NBC's "The Office". She is like the L.A. version of Mimi and I think she is just the sweetest person. I am hoping to enlist her help in finding the perfect wedding hairstyles for brides as she is going to be having her own wedding (Jim and Pam's) on an upcoming episode because the t.v. couple have set the date! Woot! Just to show you how great Kim really is I decided to share this video of "Her Morning Elegance", directed by Oren Lavie that she sent my way. I think this just became "Take Joy in All the Details..." theme song
