or I would have insisted on doing this!!! Isn't this amazing? It reminds me of the moving photographs in J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter novels. This would have tied into my theme perfectly as I have wanted photo frames with my grandparent's vintage photographs covering the fireplace mantles at the reception from the beginning. Ramblings of Renovating Part III: Front Porch

Time for the front porch. I fell in love with the potential of the front porch the moment I first walked into my house, but after several failed attempts at painting the floor without it chipping, I gave up. Now, I have a wonderful place to sit back and enjoy a book and a glass (or bottle) of wine with friends.

The only "before" picture I have is one of Dingo chasing a mouse out the door. But you can see, there was nothing spectacular going on.

We painted the natural wood slate walls and red brick, a sage green. On the floor we used garage floor epoxy in a color called cedar. The trim and natural wood ceiling were painted (12 times) a bright white. Note: When painting never before treated wood and covering water stains, you MUST use oil based paint. Second Note: Oil base paint is the messiest stuff on the planet.

Dingo added the blinds which really makes it feel secluded from the neighbors and I added many plants, my grandmothers old dry sink and her Queen Anne's Lace painting she bought while vactioning with my Grandfather in the Smokey Mountains.

I don't know why I like the glass chessboard so much, but when the light hits it during the day, it makes some incredible shadows on the wall. Dingo loves the fountain but I think we need to hit Goodwill to find something more "natural" versus "modern". Natalie, Dingo's cat has found a new watering hole.

We covered Dingo's ugly, old, orange chair with a comfy blanket and I added curtains made of Floursack Towels, screws, picture wire, and no-sew clips. I had held on to this super cool 1970's style orange light for years and it has finally found a purpose. And my new collection of cacti donated my MIL t0-be goes perfectly.

Ramblings of Renovating Part 2: Bedroom

Onto the bedroom! I got the bright idea of before and after pictures right when we were finishing up preparing the bedroom. So here is the bedroom as a nice blank canvas.

Not much to look at.

The finished product: MIL to-be once again helped repaint the room and bought the quilt set, IKEA bedside table lamps and painted my old endtables white. We found a way to fit a huge bed into a small room without overwhelming it.

FIL to-be added the mirror to the door to help make the room appear big. It worked!

Love my Harry Potter broom accent in case I need to get somewhere fast!

Ramblings of Renovating Part I: Bathroom

Well my friends, I am beginning to wrap up the major house renovations Dingo and I have undertaken the past few months. I am in love with the results and with a few tweaks here and there (with a little help from our registry) I think everything will be like a brand new home for newlyweds to enjoy. Even the garden coming along quite nicely. But first, I will share the newly renovated bathroom. It was so gross (the color) that I couldn't post the before pics because I just didn't take any. So here you have the result.

FIL to-be added a new light fixture, taking out some ugly outdated old ones and created a better fixture for curling irons and such.

My MIL to-be bought the IKEA extendable mirror and had the best idea of using brighter lights to take the struggle out of putting on my make up.

I used a frame found at Goodwill by MIL to-be and reframed a print of Chicago's Water Tower and the two of us painted the ceilings a sandy brown. I INSISTED the blue ceiling so that it would feel like I was sitting at the ocean while taking a bath. I love it.

Sigh... I thought I would love registering. As it turns out, I don't. Dingo and I take quite some time coming to some really basic decisions and it is one time I feel like those feuding couple you see in the mall. My solutions.... ONLINE registering. However, because there are just some things you would love I think I will create an online registry on this here blog. Starting with all of the things I love from Bas Bleu: Bookseller by Post. The gift that keeps giving is of course their membership!

Dingo and I really want to travel the world, and I have become a bit competitive about seeing as many places as he has so I think this handsomely framed Map of Travels would be pretty neat on the "study" wall.

I just love the cards of kissing animals so I had to post them. I want to get good ol' snail mail back in style so I get more than bills in the mail.

Two great friends, Erin and Todd tied the knot last March. I have been working on getting this wedding just right for so long and am thrilled beyond belief to be sharing it. In honor of that, we MUST have a Freaky Friday Happenstance. So here it is... a wedding I have been drooling to post. When and where was your wedding?
March 22, 2008-Our first anniversary is this weekend! Hotel Boulderado, Boulder, Colorado

Was there any reason for choosing that particular date or location?
We wanted to be near a major airport so it would be easier for our friends and family to get in. We also love the mountains and were hoping for snow on the wedding day (which we were lucky enough to get)! When we saw the Hotel Boulderado we had to have the wedding there. We love historic hotels and the Boulderado is absolutely beautiful.

How many guests were invited?
100

That would you say was your inspiration for planning your wedding? For instance, was it the season of the year that guided your choice in décor, a grouping of colors, or a theme?
I took an eclectic approach to wedding planning. I knew that I wanted the bridesmaids to wear red dresses, because it would look good at the location and I love the contrast with the red and white. The bright color mix of flowers was fabulous and then I got inspired when I saw someone use lollipops as favors, so I decided to do lollipops as seat cards. After that I just ran with the candy theme for the jelly bean centerpieces. I couldn't have been happier with how things turned out.

If you had 1 (or 2) “redo’s” what would you use them on? (i.e. cake, décor, programs, etc.)
Nothing. Our wedding was perfect!

What were you most pleased with during your planning experience?
Everything just fell together perfectly. I only made three trips to Boulder and arranged everything in those three days. I never really had a big desire to plan all the details so it was nice that the hotel took care of the linens, catering, bar, and placement of flowers and centerpieces. Once we got there we dropped things off with the wedding coordinator at the hotel and we got to spend the rest of our time with friends and family, which is how it should be.
What advice do you have for a bride or groom to be?
Marriage is a partnership. There are good times and bad and it won't always be the intoxicating kind of love that brought you together in the first place. The lasting love and committment of sharing your life with one person is what marriage is about.

My personal favorites are the annual Harry Potter celebrations but her get together to say farwell to Battlestar Galactica (Reimagined) was fun too. We ate, tried to play a BSG board game that was super fun but pretty difficult and said goodbye to Laura, Adama, Lee, Starbuck, Sam, Caprica 6, Good Ol' Baltar and poor ol' Chief.

Yes, I want a sword to pose with as the ultimate bride who doesn't put up with anything. I don't think anyone will cross me if I am carrying around a deadly weapon. These were the "tools" we used to create the cards. Postcards and envelopes are from PaperSource, the seal wax is from waxseals and the graphics we just got from a friend's computer. The super neat part is the sticker to use on guests calendars to help them save the date! We produced those from a polaraid sticker printer and cutting them in half and placing them on the postcard with album corners.

A few details from the program: The Bride was carrying the wedding basket of her late Grandmother, The Maid of Honor wore the wedding dress and locket of the Bride's late-great-grandmother, and the Flower Girl's dress and Ring Bearer's suit and pillow wer made by the Brides's Aunt.

1. When and where was your wedding?

July 15th, 2000 in Indianapolis, IN at the Meridian Street United Methodist Church. Reception was at the Columbia Club on the circle.

2. Was there any reason for choosing that particular date or location?

Hmmmmm, Well, Steve was graduating so we wanted it to be after his graduation, and we were also trying to coordinate it around family birthdays and other summer festivities. I think it's also when the church was available.

3. How many guests were invited?

Heck, I can't remember. Maybe 275?

4. What would you say was your inspiration for planning your wedding? For instance, was it the season of the year that guided your choice in décor, a grouping of colors, or a theme?

As for decorations, I think I knew what direction to go in once I had my dress. I also tried to coordinate everything with the look of the reception room, which was already very pretty. I also knew I wanted my sister to wear my great grandmother's wedding dress as her bridesmaid/maid of honor dress, so all of those things made everything else fall into place. Plus, I was obsessed with reading the Martha Stewart Wedding mags and knew all of the ideas I liked from those. We were engaged for over a year and a half so I had plenty of time to plan!

5. What was the best advice you received and implemented as the bride and groom to be?

The best advice I received, was from the pastor that married us. He told us to support your spouse, even when he/she has made a mistake. You should always love them and stand behind them. This was wonderful advice. We are all human and still need love and support and forgiveness, even more than ever, when we are wrong.

6. On that note, what was the worst advice?

Hmmmm, I think the worst advice was after the wedding, when one of our guests bitched about her table being moved so we could open up the dance floor. She said that was rude and tacky and we never should have done that. I mean, she was so pissed that she still won't speak to me or my family, even to this day. She was lucky she was invited.

7. If you had 1 (or 2) “redo’s” what would you use them on? (i.e. cake, décor, programs, etc.)

If I could have a smaller bridal party, I would have. I was young and naive and thought I had a billion best friends. If I had to do it all over, I would just have my sister as my maid of honor and no other bridesmaids. It's silly to "chose" your best friends and line them up. I don't talk to half of them much anymore anyway.

The other thing I would have redone is I would have made sure my luggage made it to our hotel room! No one ever delivered it, and I had no clothes, meds, toothbrush, etc. the night of my wedding or the morning after! I don't think my new hub minded the no clothes part, but I was cold! ;)

8. What were you most pleased with during your planning experience?

I think I was most pleased when the reception finally came and all the months of hard work had turned into a reality. There is nothing more special than having everyone you love, all in one place, and knowing they're there because they love you. It wasn't until that night that I thought all the work was worth it!

9. What advice do you have for a bride or groom to be?

1. Forgive. Forgive. Forgive.

2. There will be times in your marriage where you have to work at falling back in love. It takes work. You have to want it and it takes patience, sacrifice, and work. (It's all so worth it though. Nothing is more valuable than unconditional love. (and hot sex).)

3. Tell your spouse you love them at least once every single day.

Favorite Find for Friday: A Child Wannabe Bride

I found this in my own collection of my parent's wedding photos. That's my oldest cousin waiting to catch the bouquet. This sweet image makes me rethink my idea of NOT having a bouquet toss, but, because most of the women atmy wedding will already be married, I have decdided to have a bouquet dance that is passed the to the couple who has been married the longest. This great photo shows a little love for tossing the bouquet though so I thought I had to share.

Sylvia Weinstock has long been the wedding cake queen of New York. In the past three decades, she has risen from home kitchen roots to the kind of culinary fame that invites, among other accolades, a name-check on "Gossip Girl." Her lavish book "Sylvia Weinstock's Sensational Cakes" (Stewart, Tabori & Chang, $45) shows off a generous helping of buttercream. We caught up with Weinstock for the secrets behind her show-stoppers........

In the introduction, it says that you had no cake at your wedding. Why not?
That's true. When we got married, we were very young and very poor - we were two college students! I wore a gray dress that I wore for 10 years. Didn't have a wedding cake. Didn't have a honeymoon. We were college students and we went back to school. I went to Washington Irving High School and then to Hunter College. My husband went to Queens College and NYU Law. So we're very committed to this wonderful city.

You also say that you hate fondant. Too chewy?
You see, people who like fondant like it because of the way it looks. But if you're a food person, you're not going to eat that. I also think that if you have great skills, as my staff does, you can make buttercream look just like fondant. Every one of those cakes in the pictures are made with buttercream, only it doesn't look it. They're smooth, and they're well put together.

Your flowers are your trademark, and they are shockingly realistic. What's the process to making them?
How I first started was to get a real flower, like a real rose, and to take each petal off and lay them in a row to see how it's structured, and then try to make them in sugar and work it backward. So you make the core and then the inner petals and then the outer petals and then you put it next to a real flower to see, what do I do to make it look even better? In that book, there are photographs of two flowerpots of orchids side by side; one is cake. Our goal is to try to duplicate as closely as possible what nature does.

And you do it by hand?
It's a sugar dough; you roll it out, and you cut each petal to shape and put it in the palm of your hand, and you build up the petals and you put them together. So if you have a peony, you've got many petals. A big, fat rose has many petals. [It can take] thousands of hours of work.

How did you develop this goal of imitating nature so closely?
I started almost 30 years ago. At that time, people put fresh flowers on a cake. I'd seen Mexicans make flowers out of bread dough, and when I learned to make this sugar and I could roll it thin and stretch it, I realized, why can't you make a flower out of it?

What were the first reactions you got?
When I started in the '80s in New York City, everybody thought, "Wow, not only is this beautiful, but the cake is delicious." And the reason is because you could make these flowers in advance and stockpile them and you can put them on a freshly baked cake. So the cake you eat is maybe 24 hours old. Some cakes back then, they could spend three weeks decorating them, so who could eat that?

Have you had a chance to make a great cake for yourself recently?
Sunday morning, I make a yeast coffee cake. For me. I happen to like yeast coffee cakes, so my husband and I will do that.

I've only had ones made with baking powder.
You've never had a yeast coffee cake? Oh, no. Try yeast. Yeast is wonderful. You do it in the morning, let it rest, roll it, let it rest, and then you put it in the oven and let it rise. You'll have it in the afternoon. You should try yeast. It's easy.

And what's your favorite dessert cake?
I love yellow butter cake, and I love it with lemon curd and fresh raspberries. I always find that delicious.

Russel+Hazel Wedding Planner

If you are just starting out or haven't yet found a wedding planner that can really be tailored to your specific needs check out Russel+hazel's Wedding Organizer Set. If you can't spring for the binder, don't let all of their templates go to waste! I think they are one of the most comprehensive free checklists available online and all you have to do is print them out and add them to a cute binder you find at your local store. Make sure you have a few places to place anything you tear out of magazines. The three-hole punched, plastic, presentation sheets works for me. Get a binder pouch filled with good graph paper, ruler, tape measure, and calculator and you will be ready for anything. [Hint: Fill everything out in pencil so you won't sweat having to make the envitable changes in your planning.]

I don't know why but if you mention silhouette anything, I go nuts. The co-creator of our Save The Dates and I had briefly thought of using silhouettes in some way but we just couldn't think of what to do. Now I have been drowning in fantastic ideas to incorporate them into a wedding. Duet Weddings, a great blog I check every chance I get, thankfully has a similar obsession and I found these great shots of a silhouette artist in action.

Tribute to Sheffield

Sheffield came from nowhere. He was homeless for the first year of his life but after being outnumbered by a pack of unruly dogs and spending some time in rehabilitation he found himself awaiting adoption at a local orphanage. When a year passed before being ruled "unfit" for adoption, finding himself facing the end, he was taken in by a sympathetic young woman who made the last two years of his life in a Tom Cat haven. He spent his summers dominating the neighborhood cats, trespassing, mooching food, getting dive-bombed by mother birds, and causing other unknown, unreported disturbances. He occupied himself during the winter months by sleeping in confined spaces, corrupting his peers, and picking on his housemates. He was known as a general "pain in the ass" who gave nothing back to society except the excerpts of laughter his exploits provided his caretakers throughout his days. He will be missed.

I played with this great idea for a long, long time. I considered doing a photo booth magnet, notecard, bookmark, everything. This is by far my favorite example of a DIY version though. I originally found it on The Offbeat Bride, and followed their link to a cute blog by the bride called my aim is true. I think even the presentation of these Save The Dates are fantastic. Well, we are finally getting down to business with chosing our Save the Date cards. There are so many options that I thought this would be a great way to make sure I post with something new every day. Because our wedding will be quite formal, we thought this would be a good opportunity to do something on our own to express our personality. Our DIY project is well under way and I have to say, I am quite impressed with our creative efforts so far. But, I am ahead of myself. This was the first Save the Date we really liked, from wonderful, excellent, Wedding Paper Divas. I love calendars, so this one, with the bride and groom's wedding date circled, is incredible. It helps that their sample is our exact wedding date too huh?

I think the resolutions we make to the world around us are resolutions we really tend to keep. Get Healthy? Check. More personal time? Check.

Of course we want to do these things, but when we find ourselves drawn to a resolution that can in fact make a real difference in the world, we are more inclined to finish the year off with an actual RED check mark on our New Year's Resolution Lists.

This time, next year, I 'll be pulling out that red Sharpie. Have no doubts about that.

Yes, I have a little Elaine in me. I think we all do. However, until very recently, her antics had ruined the word "fiance" for me. It took some time to get used to introducing my better half as my fiance. It sounded so braggy. But the more I did it, the more proud I became to be honored by his choice in marrying me. I do still hear dingo when I say "fiance", but I do love my dingo.

This is just one seller on Etsy I am obsessed with since deciding on using trees to tie in the details of our wedding. Her work is beautiful. No, flowers don't always grow on trees, but they should! Her work is customizable too! Woot Woot! I wonder how I can get a customized wooden tree box on my registry? Hmmmmmmm....

You are now a witness to the fact that I have always had a hard time making up my mind. So I just let go of this "to-d0" on my planning list so I don't have to make a decision. When it came to picking out an invitation, which is what reflects the central theme of your wedding by providing a few details of the type of event guests can expect, I was lost. Having a fall wedding I couldn't ignore my love for fall foliage in pulling and invitation together.

So, my Step Mother is having her niece, Laura, who is a student at an art school in Los Angles, take all of the elements that I have been lamenting over and create a wedding invitation just for me! What a fantastic way to have something unique while saving some money by giving an up-and-comer a chance. I CAN'T WAIT to see how they turn out.

Lucy Maud's creation... Anne

I admit I LOVE the films produced and directed by Kevin Sullivan for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. Anne of Green Gables and Anne of Avonlea are especially precious to me. Here is a scene in which Anne, portrayed by Megan Follows, daydreams her way through a day that would bring most of us to the "depths of dispair."

Thank goodnes someone else has a problem "holding her tongue". Anne must apologize to Rachel Lynde even though she was quite rudely insulted by her comment that Anne's hair was "red as carrots." Oh, the things we will agree to do just to have a place to call home.

Hidden Inspiration

Lately I have been running into inspiration in the strangest places. I have been cleaning out the house of "stuff" I just don't need anymore and ran into something that has been a hidden inspiration in some of the beautiful things I am finding myself gravitating towards while planning my wedding: Anne Shirley. I have always loved "Anne of Green Gables" and almost anything associated with L.M. Montgomery's fantastic series of books about the most wonderful, redheaded, optimist I have ever had the pleasure of "meeting." Because my Mom just reminded me how my Grandmother always used to ask me when I would find my "Gilbert," and my matron of honor told me about a bride she knows who used "Anne's Theme" in her wedding ceremony, I thought it appropriate to delve back into the series as a treat for doing well on my midterms.

So on to my own personal day for a little while. The engagement party reinvigorated my wedding planning. We had an atypical engagement in the sense that we picked everything based on our venue's availability. Hopefully you can see why just by looking at these great shots of the site. My mother and I checked out a couple of places but when my fiance and I drove up to Laurel Hall, we knew immediately that it was the place.

My parents recently gave me the best little engagement gift called The Wedding Game. It is a card game originally published in 1880 that chronicles a Bride and Groom's trip to the alter. I was so impressed by the cute little characters of all the members of the wedding party that I looked up the company and found it was reintroduced by F.G. & Company. I am a television addict, yes, but I usually steer away from reality t.v. Now that I am planning a wedding I have checked out every show I can find on planning weddings, crazy brides, and cakes. Yes, wedding cakes have their own spotlight in Ace of Cakes and Amazing Wedding Cakes. If you wonder how you could possibly get involved in watching people bake a cake just give me the benefit of the doubt this once and commit a half hour of your time to one of these shows. Maybe this great photograph from Kate Spade will motivate you to reclaim the remote control. Be prepared for some great ideas so have your planning notebook at hand.

These beautiful images of Princess Diana Spencer, Princess of Whales marrying Prince Charles of Whales still take my breathe away. According to good ol' wikipedia, "Prince Charles proposed to Diana in February 1981, she accepted, and when he asked her father for her hand, he consented. I remember getting to stay up past my bed time to watch this royal wedding. At the time it really was a fairytale. Even though Prince Albert and Princess Diana had a troubled marriage that eventually ended, they had two beautiful sons who have turned into some smart looking, charming young men. This wedding was something very few people had ever witnessed.

When Grace Kelly married Prince Rainier the press called it the "wedding of the century." I could devote a whole month to the civil and church services the couple had, but right now we are only concerned with the bride.

According to marriageabout.com, Grace's wedding gown was designed by Helen Rose and was a gift from MGM studios. It was a high-necked, long-sleeved gown with a fitted torso and billowing skirt made of twenty-five yards of silk taffeta, one hundred yards of silk net, peau de soie, tulle and 125-year-old Brussels rose point lace. She wore a Juliet cap that was decorated with seed pearls, orange blossoms, and a veil of 90 yards of tulle. The chief hairstylist at MGM Studios, Sydney Guilaroff, styled Grace's hair for her wedding. Grace carried a small Bible and a bouquet of lilies-of-the-valley. Her matron of Honor was Grace's sister, Peggy. All 6 bridesmaids wore yellow, organdy dresses. The six junior attendants (4 girls and 2 boys) were all dressed in white.

I knew from the get go that I wanted an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception, preferably at a location that both can take place. However, I did not know if I wanted to have it a beautiful downtown hotel, historical monument, estate, winery, etc. After much research I found that the place to start finding inspiration is to figure out what kind of bride I was hoping to be. I just recently filled up my "requests" at the library with wedding books. I have been browsing through the stack of 50 books now sitting in the corner of my living room and thought I would share with you some tips from the experts in planning a wedding successfully.

Steps for Successful Wedding Planning

Work with what you have. If you have a generous, helpful family of DIY Divas, Use them! Utilize the talents or your friends and family for an especially unique and intimate experience. Asking for their advice defnitely saves time and hassle.... as long as they know YOU are the one making the FINAL decision!
Create a positive mindset. There will be things that you and your fiance might not cagree on and unwanted input from family members, the wedding party, or friends. Keep calm, just like life, it isn't always easy. Just remember that all the headaches will disappear when you are standing next to your husband at the end of that aisle.
Have fun while you plan your wedding. Every bride gets to experience the lifestyle we usually on see in Hollywood. So eat it up! Go to as many churches, museums, halls, parks when searching for the right venue. Taste test as many different bakeries as you can. Try on zillions of gorgeous gowns. Take part in registry parties that are geared for couples starting their homes. Introduce the wedding party at a fun wine and cheese tasting. You are only limited by your imagination.
Take advantage of familial bonding. Honestly, sometimes the only time busy families can really come together is at weddings and funerals. Since this is one of the happiest times in a persons life, let your family enjoy it too. Let them throw engagement parties or showers for you. Give them a part in the planning. They have seen you grow up experiencing you joys and pains right by your side. Honor them by including them whenever possible.
Expect to be nervous. Between planning, registering, and accomodating family requests, things can get a bit nerve racking. Just take a breath and know that this is normal.
Remain respectful. Bridezilla's are fun to watch on t.v., but not to experience in person. Even if something really bothers you, take a step back from the situation before reacting. Remember, you wedding party is there to support you, not let you walk all over them.
Don't overextend. You are planning what will become one of your most treasured memories, not a mission to Mars.

It's one of the reason I am such a fan of the inpiration boards that can be found on just about any good design blog. To help us keep it so the details add just the right touch instead of overwhelm the senses let's start with the five "W"'s and the "H" in journalism.

WHEN do you want to have your big event?

WHERE do you want to host it?
WHO must attend to ensure a great time?

WHAT is the occasion?

WHY is this event special?

HOW will the bills get paid?

For instance, if you are hosting a wedding (which will be the central focus of this blog ) you will set the parameters of the ceremony and reception through analyzing what time of year the wedding will take place, where it will be held, how many guests to anticipate, and who will be involved in the planning.

After that it is time to sit back and daydream about what you want to be included in your big day. Scour magazines and books, yes. But free, unlimited advice is always available on countless event planning blogs. Start printing and cutting out pictures that you can give to your vendors to help them understand your vision. I like pasting them all onto one board so I can take it with me anywhere and anyone can instantly see what the big picture will look like. It helps tie it all together for a seamless look. The ever ellusive answer to the "Should we have a videographer?" question....

Okay. I admit it. I am a bride who originally poo poo'ed the idea of having a videographer in my face the whole day of the wedding. I also don't REALLY like seeing myself of the big screen, or any screen for that matter. Yes, I should be looking radiant, but I am a lady who like any other lady has no problems finding non-existing faults in her appearance. So I asked newlyweds what they experienced through their planning to deal with this nagging question. It was a general agreement among those who did not have it filmed, that if they would have had the extra moolah, they would have splurged for it because there of the many moments they felt they had missed. (i.e. parents and bridesmaids walking in, music before the ceremony, cocktail hour, etc.) And the one thing every single bride has told me is this... "The day just flew by!" So I don't want to miss a moment of it either. My options had me boggled until I stumbled upon this beautiful youtube video of the Petaja wedding, 06.07.08, filmed in Super 8 MM. The Petaja couple has such touching music throughout the montage and the video just captured the feeling of the day, not every single hairy little detail that sometimes we wish weren't caught on film. I love, love, LOVE, it. Hmmmm... What does this mean? Answer: Try to find some wiggle room in the budget for a videographer. *sigh*

I found my excitement bubbling up when I spotted this dress during a recent visit to DisneyLand. It's Belle, from Kirstie Kelly's collection. Gorgeous is the best adjective that comes to mind. Even this description does not do it justice. Seeing this in a window made me fall in love the thought of planning my own wedding. I could have stared at the window display for hours. But, when I started to search for it in the real world I discovered that it was WAY out of my price range. If I played the lottery, so I could win it, I would buy this dress as my first extravagent purchase.
